{ Numb3rs 215: Running Man }

I loved the case so much. I was a little irked by Don's response to Larry because I found it out of character. I never took the boys for piano players, heh, but that final scene had me in tears. Seriously, so beautiful. And now we have more information on Margaret Eppes! She was a lawyer which puts paid to my idea that Don is more like his father; the piano thing doesn't help either. OHGOD, Alan/Judd broke my heart. In those two seconds when he closes his eyes and remembers, you really feel that - the pain, the memories, falling into that sweet, sweet melody. Just...wow. Awesome, Judd Hirsch, real awesome.
Larry, poor sweetie; and then David. Wow, we're getting heavier on his story, aren't we? It's a mite stereotypical but I liked how it played out, and especially Megan's quiet response to it. Now I want some serious info on Colby. Actually, screw that: I want Megan backstory, lots of it.
The case was interesting, really well constructed and not like what they usually have. A little sly on the math (and Megan was seriously digging into Charlie this week, eh?) but procedurally sound. Really strong episode; I enjoyed it, heavy though it was.
And now to two very shallow things. Again, the beautiful piano playing. And Don! of all people, heh. Secondly, Don running that guy down. HEYZEUS. Fucking awesome.
Now I need some caps. (Oh come on, like you didn't see that one coming a mile off).

Date: 2006-02-04 11:25 am (UTC)You're right. The last scene was beautiful. Very well done.
I kind of figured the college student had something to do with the case, but I wasn't sure. (I even had a fleeting thought of, "He's a Highlander Immortal." Heheheheheh.)
And I still adore Charlie. I never know what he says half the time, but he's cute saying it.:)

This series isn't the same as the first, it's practically a new show. But it's still hella fun. Much love :)
