[&] Kara and Lee at the beginning was not just a ship thing is was... profound almost. I don't know. Touching.

[&] The abuse of Helo and Tyrol made me sick and sad.

[&] Kara & Cain. FRAK. All those parallels, promising not to flinch, Kara's last tribute. Jeez.

[&] "Yes sir, yes sir" LEE AND ADAMA. In fact let's just deal with Lee's depression right now. When you hear his confession to Kara at the end, it's so completely heartbreaking.

[&] "Good hunting". Oh god.

[&] The battle scene was odd... sort of distant. Graphics, as always, were fantastic but then there was this sense of dettachment, I guess because we weren't with the battle, or the pilots. It wasn't as affecting as I thought it might be but I guess that was the point.

[&] The music in the Pegasix(heh)/Baltar scene was so much love.

[&] "You're not my type." HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAWTF? BEST. LINE. EVER.

[&] DUALLA WTF?

[&] MOMANDDAD. In front of BILLY. And then Adama's smile and Roslin's little laugh and the fact that he's fallen in love with a dying woman and the "Admiral" and the music, wow, the music here was just beautiful. *squees*

Far more comprehensive post on this week's Numb3rs still to come. Can I just note that I loved it? I really - I went to it with bad expectations (I really have to stop reading the tja_rama flist) but I really, really loved it. A bit of a continuity error at the end (god, they're normally so good with that stuff, too) but overall, just... yay.

Ok, I just have to come by and agree 100% about the music!! it was brilliant! (but then, I have yet to hear bad BSG music, so...) Just *squuuuuueeeeeeeeee* all around on the music in this ep!!! Seriously, I may (ok, will) be one grumpy movie-music fan if they don't release a season 2 soundtrack!!! (I really hope I'm not the only one on that :p)

Well, if I hadn't d/l then I would never have seen the series. The UK started to air them whilst I was at uni and if I didn't have them already, I wouldn't have had access to them.

ack! that woulda been horrible :o

even though i did d/l the whole first season (i snagged it after the season had finished and i'd only seen the pilot so far, though i didn't know at the time that it was the pilot... lol), i could have caught the show in re-runs...

but having to d/l just to see it... like i said... aaaack!
