Lots of awws and ahhs today. I watched the final Friends yesterday (although I don’t normally) and in typical fashion it was all very sweet. I knew what was going to happen anyway but the jokes were good enough. I also finally got around to watching the two ERs I taped although I still have one CSI and one and a half Dawson’s to watch. Yes, again, I’m sad but let me get to the point already

ER was wonderful. It was so sad to see Kem and Carter go through what they did; the story was well handled. It’s always really hard to go through something like that and the ER writers did themselves proud for the first time in a long while. It was so sad I was just in tears. Beautiful. Thandie Newton has grown on me over the season even though I know Jenny C doesn’t like her so much.

I really liked the graduation story – it made me laugh to see Neela’s family all arrive – and on the cheapest flight too! That’s so typical of an Indian family. The whole lesbian-baby story really breaks my heart because Massachusetts was the first state, last week, to recognise gay marriages and I think it’s about time too. Imagine the pain some of those couples must go through. Laura Innes, as pointed out by TWoP is a fantastic actress and deserves to win some sort of award: she’s very subtle in her character’s portrayal. Oh, by the way? Sam’s husband: go to hell already. Or somewhere where you can’t get in between Luka and Sam because, well, you know they belong together. You’re breaking the Croatian’s heart. Again dammit!

Oh well. Ooh, Miami’s on tonight. HoCaine and the SoJ (Sunglasses of Justice) will return once more. I love that my computer just spell checked ‘HoCaine’ as cocaine. Pure genius.

I am absolutely knackered. I just worked my weekly four hour shift at the store – and yes, I know that four hours isn’t all that long but I hate it with a passion. It’ll have been a year, soon, since I started. Dear god, that’s what, (52 x 4) + extras = 208+ hours of my life that I want back. This morning, I saw the clock. It said 6.25 so I was like, cool, I’ll get up in five. So I rolled over and fell asleep again. I woke up at 7.22 and had eight minutes to get ready and leave the house. I’m so stupid. Also, I have to go to work tomorrow morning because we’re short of staff and we’re doing the stock take. Naturally, Dad needs me to run the till. Which I don’t really mind except for the fact that I hate it. Hate.

But Meisha, console thyself…HoCaine bitching awaits!

(Oh, new icons to post soon).
