{ are we doing this again? }
Jan. 3rd, 2006 11:03 pmHa, so, for the first time in ever I’m actually going to watch an episode of L&O. Too bad it’s the season finale, heh. Omg, is this Carmichael’s last episode?! Oh, I think I’m having a turn.
This post is actually about my decision to watch the Miami double. I have realised that even when an episode is engaging, I suffer an intrinsic dislike of the series. The penultimate episode was pretty freaky and still I was irritated by it (although you know the serial killer guy? OMG what an awesome actor. And what a total creep, too)! Mostly by Togo who I have decided is not worth his weight as a character. This has relatively little to do with the fact that he’s Speed’s “replacement” and a lot to do with the fact that he can’t act. Flat as a bloody pancake. Emily Procter, however, and whoever the hell it is that played Hagen – wow. They totally rocked my socks in that finale episode. Really well played out.
The fangirl in me really wants for someone to have written decent HoCaine backstory after this episode* but knowing the state of this fandom, I know that it’s not very likely. BUT OMG. HoCaine was being hugged by his totally-in-denial GF in front of his BROTHER who is MARRIED to her. Yeah. That is a good fanfic foundation. Hell, I might even write that fanfic. I’m totally not qualified to do that considering I haven’t watched S3 since Lost Son but I am so ready to write that fic, like, right now. Seriously. And I’d add Calleigh and Megan in there just for good measure.
Aw, man, I totally miss Lennie Briscoe. And you know, I actually miss Ed Greene, too. This should be good.
Actually, the fangirl in me wants to write a fic where HoCaine is confront by DS. You know what I'm talking about, Denzina. *cough*Deaisleavingyou*cough*

You know what would happen, don't you? She'd tell HC that she's going to remarry, he'd look down, unable to confront her, he'd just let her go, all noble...Calleigh would throw evils with her eyes... it would be freaking AWESOME.
