First off, to anyone who's emailed me in the past 48 hours - I swear, I will get around to replying to you soon. I'm having net connection issues here in the flat, so it's a bit screwy at times. However, if your email was five lines or less, you probably got a reply in kind. Oh, lucky you!

I'm supposed to be writing a poetry essay today but i can't get motivated. It's only a thousand words! I can get that written in less than an hour if I actually try. But I'm sitting here with my chosen poem (Sonnet 19, Sh.) and I... don't care. I just want to watch more Numb3rs/Supernatural/Grey's Anatomy (delete as applicable). I especially want to see Supernatural because I now actually need that backstory, and because I'm losing a grip on the boys' characterisation. In the rapid-fire-dialogue portion of the fic, they come out quite well; it's when I want them to have a bit of depth that they start rebelling against me. And, I have to keep reminding myself that it's only Lise who hates Sam, not everyone else. I need to make him a little bit less pathetic, poor chap. In happier news, the current portion has direction! There's a random plot-device character, a house full of ancestry, a spooky photograph and The Nightmares Of OFC Backstory Mwhahaha. I just need to sit down and type it all up. But, alas, essay first. Grr.

I also need to pack my bag properly tonight. I checked my train times for the third time and they've changed again. I have no idea what's going on. It's ridiculous. I just want to get a train to Reading! I need to make sure that I've packed all my clothes, the five books that I brought (no, still haven't finished White Noise, and I didn't bring my copy of Emily Dickinson, which was so so smart of me /idiot).

Oh, we (as in The Mother, The Sister and I) watched Numb3rs 203 yesterday. All the interactions between Megan and Larry are awesomely played out. I really loved that scene at the beginning of the episode when Megan's underscoring Stalker 101, and David asks how you can tell if someone is a stalker... *beat* everyone looks around and starts laughing. That was excellent. And PAPA EPPES! What did he do? I mean, other than make me very happy? Haha, oh yeh, Charlie's secret admirer. You know, the old man's really into his son's love lives, isn't he? But like I said before, the family dynamic really kicks in this series; like, at the start of the episode, when Don and Charlie turn up from this hockey game, haha.

Charlie was doing everything in that episode! The Sister and I pointed it out and then Megan practically stole the words from us. I really like Megan and was very happy when she, you know, was doing her thing outside the office. That round table is new, right? The one that curves around the interior office? Yeah. Because this is the most efficient way to get all the cast in one place without them stepping on each other's feet and looking daft. Shiny, though.

As for the case... confusing. The Sister tells me that the girl (singer) was from the OC (which, haha, Navi Rawat, yay) but I recognised her as the girl from that hanson video (Penny and Me??) The rapper's assistant was Duncan from Zoe, Duncan, Jack & Jane (which, omg, Michael Rosenbaum! AZURA SKYE). One of the guys looked like that annoying guy from 24. That was pretty vague, eh? Yeah. Who is Dylan Bruno? He's on nearly every episode and I have no clue who he plays. Hmm. *IMDb* HAHAHAHAHAHA! It's Colby, the pillock. It never occurred to me that he's not actually in the credits. Dude, how odd. That's my funny fact of the day, I think. How did I not know that?? Anyway, another episode tonight. And Atlantis, for the first time in ages. I'm going to have to borrow someone's DVDs and catch up. This is not a good state of affairs!

Back to the poetry analysis. I just wish I knew what exactly it is that I'm being asked to do. Everything is very vague.
