So, normally, when I'm writing, I have a pretty clear cut idea of character in my head. I mean, you really need that. But I'm writing this fic, and I'm writing this OC (and I have these crazy Mary Sue phobias) so normally I just myself loads of questions about the character and answer them for myself. Except I figured you could all ask me stuff so that I have to think about it more, and so that I don't miss all the obvious things.

So. Yes. Ask my OC anything. Obvious things, obscure things. I'll have the answers to some anyway because, well, yes, but to others I won't. Ask where she's from, what's her favourite food, what her name is (you could start with that one) andI will answer and then I will squish you al because you are a great and interactive flist, yes, yes, you are, aren't you? :p

ETA: Ask at least five questions each. Think of banal stuff and more interesting stuff. Y'all know that I love you, right?

1. Well, she can't go anywhere atm, but that's another thing all together. She's generally alone anyway.
2. Well...loner. But shameless, so she's an extrovert, I guess.

1. If she had to choose, Dean. Sam is pathetic to her, an irritant.

1. This is a girl with basic hygiene only. If she makes it to a bath tub, that's a complete luxury for her. A shower is this phenomenon that she's not necessarily come across.
2. On her back. Shelikes to be able to open her eyes and see.
3. She has stamina. Needs sleep but likes to be the last to sleep and the first to wake. It's about self-control and vigilance.
4. (How much do I want to say tequila?!) Ale that she stole during a party when she was very, very young. It was her dad's.
5. Anything. She's not fussed about food. But if she can get a burger, she feels good. She remembers her mother cooking duck once upon a time but hasn't had it since that time.
6. Morning. More specifically, dawn.
7. She thinks her worst habit is sinning, living an unclean life. Her actual real habit is her caustic nature, and her selfishness.
8. Others think her worst habit is her selfishness. One person thinks her worst habit is being too harsh on herself. (Excellent question, btw).
9. No. Sings, though.
10. Verbal? No. Physical? Staring. She stares a lot so maybe that's something that needs to be changed.
11. Childishness/helplessness in others. Does that count? She hates getting her feet wet, too.
12. Practically nothing. She is so shameless, it's close to disgusting. She is embarassed about the happy-shiny partsof her childhood. Especially of her so-called 'childhood-romance'.
13. She's a thief, so, yeah. She thinks she's indebted to her priest for a multitude of reasons. She thinks God owes her a lot.
14. Hmm. It's odd because she swears a lot, and curses a lot. But she gets annoyed when people say 'for god's sakes' even though she does. Oh, she hates being asked if she's ok.
15. Haha. Not really. I mean, her religion, and her (dead) mother are the focus of her life. To that respect, her (sort of) sister is an obsession. But no real fetishes. She doesn't really have time for anything that isn't immediate.

Wow. Your flist beat me to all the best questions. But for what it's worth:

1. What's the first thing she does when she wakes in the morning?
2. TV, or book?
3. Starter, or pudding?
4. Would she ever have plastic surgery and if so under what circumstances, and where?
5. Would she ever contemplate suicide and under what circumstances? If she's thought about this, how often and what's her preferred method?

Hey. I'm about to email you.

1. Checks where she is, checks what's changed from the night before. Checks the crucifix is still on. In that order.
2. Book. Tv is a weird luxury that she doesn't understand. She was brought up in an earthly, sheltered way and then didn't have a home for, like, ever.
3. Food, full stop. She does have a thing for ice cream if she can ever get her hands on it.
4. No. She doesn't care at all about that sort of thing. It's not even something that crosses her mind because it's not a world she thinks about.
5. Never. Completely against what she believes. But she's very aware of the way in which she lives, and whilst the exact date is unclear, she is absolutely ceratin about the way in which she's going to die. She's very clear about what the endgame is in her life.

Yeah, that's the dichotomy I'm trying to set up with her. Because the Catholicism is something she protects herself with but really doesn't feature as much as you'd think it would. It's difficult to explain but that will come out (soon. I'm actually writing this thing now. I may have to turn to you for your character-writing ability!)

1) She thinks she's afraid of dying before she's finished what she's set out to do. What she's actually afraid of is being alone.
2) Not so much in the way of a RL person, but I know her features quite well. Dark hair, messy, if only because she doesn't have time for faff. Quite small features, brown eyes. Lanky. She's well built, but her skin is very pale; anaemic. She doesn't always get the food she needs. She's not well manicured, she's normally sporting a few cuts and bruises. She's probably be pretty if she took the effort.
3) Her mother comes from a tradition of gypsies, particuarly French rogues. So she has this broad sweeping knowledge of herbs, 'potions' (I put that in commas because they're not magical, they're practical), the weather. She's very sensitive to the world around her in the sense that she can feel the push and pull of power in the air. That's what she uses to direct her across the country, and is what leads her to the brothers. There's a hint of precognitory prowess to her, but that can be put down to her perceptive ability.
4. A little woollen doll with a red dress. She called it 'Ceci'. This is one of those things that iknow but will never ever be pertinent to the story.
5. In terms of practicality, she prefers Summer because it's warmer. But she also prefers summer because winter was when her mother was killed, and she associates it with her loneliness.

Wow, those were longer answers than I was expecting to give. I think I can go write this with more ease now. Thank you.

Oh, do! It's actually quite fun. I mean, normally I just ask myself the basics but this made me think about the whole process more. And it's interesting to see what things you know by instinct and what things don't. Some of the answers can surprise you!
