Dude, wtf is Joshua Malina doing, sticking around TWW. I'm at 5x11 (The Benign Perrogative) and he's had an episode average of ten freaking words. Bloody hell.
Oh, I know. It must have been extremely frustrating for him when he first signed up for the show because of Aaron Sorkin and then the guy left right after JM'd jumped aboard. But he probably signed a contract that forced him to stay and...
The most frustrating thing is that I really, really loved Will. You know that episode when he breaks Toby's window? That is one of my favourite TWW episodes ever, because Will was just so brilliant in it. And now they've done... this to him. It's... pft.
I love the episode when he breaks the glass - and then when it happens again? So so good. But to see him pitter patter around with half arsed lines (that mostly he doesn't get to finsih because someone speaks over him) really pisses me off. And the new Toby isn't so much snarky as a bigot. Just... argh!
TWW went to hell after Aaron left and there's no denying it. Sure, it sort of wobbled there for a while when they still had some Aaron's leftovers to play with but after those bones were all chewed... I wish they'd stop before they have to change administration and stuff. (Though, I happen to know that they won't. Oh god... *facepalm*)
I watch it because just seeing the actors makes me happy but I think I'm just going to have to fork out fo rthe first four series and watch them over and over again. As for JM, I'll buy Sports Night (which is my other Sorkin love).
