One must wonder why it is that I bother to watch WaT anymore. However, I can say last night's episode was worth it for al the sci-fi jokes and the very very clouded reference to Eric Close's role in Taken as - you got it - the alien. Hehehe.

What totally rocked my socks, though, was Vivian. You go girl.

Timothy Busfield is an executive producer of the show as well as Jack Malone's friend&lawayer? Hmm. And Enrique stole those scenes with Navi Rawat right at the beginning. By the way, what the hell was with her voice? *misses Numb3rs*

Mostly, I was just annoyed. I was annoyed at the amount of screentime Jack, Sam and Martin get in their little plotlines, I was annoyed at the shuddersome Sam&Martin scene at the end of the episode and I was annoyed at Jack totally losing it, whether or not it got the damn guy to go home. I just - argh! Bad bad bad. Really bad. Danny talking to that kid was awesome too. So, both of his scenes were worth the time. *SIGH*

I'm failing at writing today. Yay.

WaT is Without a Trace. Sorry, I'm just so used to sticking in known references.

Taken was brilliant! I loved it; the box set is on sale next week so hopefully I'll be able to buy it. I loved every part of that series and there should be more like it.

Gotcha, and thank you. Usually I can catch it and suss out what yuo mean, but this time it went right over me. LOL

Taken was marvelous. Such a unique idea to have each 2 hour shot directed by someone different. I loved how it moved through time but yet followed specific families from one generation to the next. It's where I was introduced to Desmond Harrington - who was absolutely awesome in it.

Every time I see the DVDs, it's for the whole set and they are always around $100 US - which is just too much for me. I understand why, I just have no way to be able to swing it. Unfortunately. But here's hoping you can get it!

I loved following teh story through the generations; how each one was bound up in the next. And Harrington is awesome.

I know, the DVDs cost quite some. But hopefully, with a cut and some soon to be arriving finances (well, I hope so!) I should be able to get my hands on them!

Harrington is a fantastic actor anyway. And not so hard on the eyes, either. :-D Mmm guh.

Its the same reason why I don't have S2 of Spooks on DVD (and do we even have a date for S3 yet?) . . . *cries* Which I feel awful about because dammit. Spooks!

Ah, I know! Well, S3 comes out...soon, lol. [livejournal.com profile] hestia8 knows more about that than I do, though. I own none of the series on DVD - yet! Mostly, I try to remember they're on and tape them instead. Poorer quality but when I need them, have them. (Except at time slike now when my VCR has died).

And not so hard on the eyes, either.
I agree! Guh indeed, lol.
