I have a fondness for tragedy in both its classical and contemporary senses, and I think The Good Shepherd was both wonderful and horrible. I'm not sure I'll watch it again, at least, not by myself. But it was the best kind of story, and that made the difference. The music, too.

I watched Criminal Minds, CSI: NY and The Black Donnellys today. The first two were solid filler episodes, but The Black Donnellys was actually quite good. If it wasn't for Jenny's inability to make a decision and stick to it, I would have been very pleased with this episode. As it is, she flip-flops, so I have less and less sympathy for her. Although seeing her ( spoiler, 1x07 )
But yes: a better episode, funny, and ironic, and terrible.--
