So, Saturday night was spent wearing a "social mask" and generally pretending to be nice to lots of people I barely recognised. The party was a bit of a bomb, really, but I was with my cousin so that wasn't so bad. There's another one in a fortnight but that's going to be amazing so I can't wait for that one.
One of my uncles and his family came to stay at ours and I spent the day with my cousin-SIL. Well, I say "the day". At 2pm I went to cover Dad so that he could have an hour off for lunch. I was there until shift change at 5. Luckily I wasn't on my own; Liam, one of the weekend boys (heh) was working, too. He's a good guy so the time passed quickly enough. Anyway, after I got home and the family left, Mum wanted to watch a film so I sat with The Rents and we watched The Interpreter. I still love that movie.
Woke up late today and will spend the next hour (at least) packaging books that need to be sent out tomorrow. I need to sort out my paypal account and make sure that Amazon has my account details straight otherwise I won't get the money. I don't know what else I'm going to do this lovely Bank Holiday Monday. In all likelihood, I'm going to re-watch RENT and mutter to myself about how many people I know in RL who need to grow the fuck up, or at least stop assaulting me with their mindless adolescence. Sigh.
