I am breaking my no-laptop-during-weekday-morning rule because I have to run a virus check.

Today is a much better day, I have an extra lecture which means I have to peg it to the main campus at the end of LTC1 but that's ok. It's on essay writing which, you know, has been done to death, but it's been a year since I'vce written a proper one and they might want us to do different stuff.

Mmm, Honey Loops. Breakfast is a strangely satisfactory meal.

I start White Noise and Grace Notes today, so, hurrah! Then I have to read one chapter from I, Maus and I will be done with my N&C lit. Then I can concentrate on poetry. After Blake next week (a bit of a yawn here because I'm more of a Byron/Coleridge fan) we turn to T.S. Eliot!

I'd better go brush my hair. A girl from the flat below wants to walk with me. She's lovely, but I sort of use these early morning walks for rumination and Deep Thoughts. Oh well, there'll be time enough for that during the day.

Ha ha ha! I just came home and turned on the radio to hear an advert for Rome! Excellent! It's amusing to hear.

Speaking of coming home, uh, yeah: I think Hallowe'en is cancelled. The heavens are baulking and have launched a protest in the form of downpours.

In conclusion: my foot + blisters = ow.
