No, seriously. So, uh, Tigh was going to commit suicide by burning himself to death? I guess being married to Ellen can do that to a guy. And yay for the Mendoza moustache that Young!Adama was sporting. I'm having odd TWW flashbacks now.

Geekage: the battle scenes are always so awesome. I love how the 'camera' shudders as it zooms in on the cylon ship and then all these raiders fall out. It's quite surreal yet pretty damn scary if all those things are flying at you. I love it when Apollo's all "Engage!" and everyone's pretty much engaging anyway.

The baby cylon story is odd but I love Baltar enough to ignore it until it becomes more of a thing. I mean, I get that it's supposed to be a part of the Cylon Plan but for now the Baby Toaster is a minor irritation. Heh. It amuses me that CapricaBoomer stole Starbuck's ship. I didn't see the miniseries so can someone explain to me how it is that Kara and Helo know each other? What I mean is, what's the history there? Hopefully there's more Starbuck next week. And more Crazy Baltar. (Because that's always fun).

Ooh! Scary robots - on.the.galactica.argh! I'm confused as to why no-one is checking that shit out. And why the hell did Gaeta need soap to work out his dilemma? [Side note: love that Tigh gets wigged out by Baltar]. I love that Dualla's called Dee; I also have a huge fanship just for Cally because she's awesome. I particuarly like that I know her name now because at first I was all 'that ear-biting girl'.

*happy sigh* I love fandom. Now off to finish reading Twelve by rheanna27.

In other news, The Mother wants me to put the wet clothes out but grey clouds are a-gathering. Hmm. And I'm going to make a sci-fi icon. Just because.

Oh. Odd. Have you checked your settings? (Tools >> Options). I have version 4.8.1. I have trouble, sometimes, getting things to download, but mostly it's bug-free.

There's not that much backstory in the mini. Except that Kara and Helo have clearly been friends for Some Time. Plus, Helo and Lee give each other a silent heads up in the flight briefing when Apollo first comes to Galactica, and given that Lee and Kara knew each other in whatever military academia they've got there, it's the reasonable fandom conclusion that Hero, Kara, and Lee have at least been familiar since back in school.
