So much for doing work. The Sister and I are going to town to buy pancakes (for us) and (school) lunch stuffs (for her). And hopefully something with sugar.

Edit: NO PANCAKES! SIN! So we bought crumpets. Second load of washing is drying, The Sister is doing her ironing. I will do mine shortly thereafter. Meanwhile will pretend to do revision. Can't fold clothes until they are dry. The sun has come out to help us though.

Question: what does one do to revise for an English laguage exam?

Hmm. You sound like me. What kind of exam is this? I mean, will it have stuff about grammar and such, or what?

No, it's...well, one's an analysis question and the other's a little odd. They give you five texts, all on a linguistic theme and then they ask you to write...something. Like an article. All the good grammar/spelling stuff is implied. I mean, I have to learn themes from last year...but I don't know. Odd exam.

You know what's been nice to read in your journal lately? You seem to be getting on really well with your sister. It's sweet to read. Pancakes bring families together, as can crumpets. I find muffins an excellent stand in, also, although they can give you heartburn if they're not toasted through.

And yeh, The Sister and I are currently not ranting at one another. 'Tis good, 'tis good. I mean we don't always fight but sometimes it gets especially bad. Now is (hopefully) a calm period. She mostly likes it when I buy her stuff (and I bought her sweets today).
