So the lit. exam didn't go so badly. Actually, the timing of these exams is really bad. Two hours for two essays is not on; it should be fourty-five minutes per essay. That's doable.

Ha! That meeting dad went to was a promo event. Because dad owns a store, he goes to these convention things every now and then and they give him sample stuff. So The Sister and I get various confectionaries, keychains, t-shirts etc. I'm eating peanuts right now, lol. Dad always get me keychains. We also have a batman that I will photo and post, along with that lightsaber from The Sister's cereal this morning.

After that, will revise my psychology. Exam is tomorrow afternoon so am going to tape tonight's CSI. Shame because it's Committed. Oh, does anyone use gmail notifier? If you do, is it playing up today? Mine can't access my inbox.

Oh, [livejournal.com profile] tigertrapped? I got the tape in the post today - thank you!

[livejournal.com profile] wliberation, the books are packed and will be sent off tomorrow. They would have been done earlier but the local post office runs strange hours.

Edited: If anyone can tell me what my subject title comes from WITHOUT googling it, extra brownie points :)

An hour is mostly too much in my literature exams. I've got 40 mins per essay today in psychology; that's one which is a bit tight to fit in but it's not so bad.

Wordsworth is William Wordsworth, Romantic poet (note the capital R). He wrote an autobiographical poem called 'The Prelude'. That was the exam I sat yesterday, alongside my Shakespeare paper. There are times when his writing is lovely and times when I was bored. He also tends to write backwards sometimes (uses older language than he needs to). He's a bit of an egotist, I suppose. But anyway, that's Wordsworth.

Aah. You see, I was lost in translation there for a moment. I thought you were talking about different kinds of essays. Yeah, I hear you, an hour is definitely too much for most if you have to sit all the way through (though for me it'd probably be better than 45 minutes because my brain is really slow in exam situations).
