So I come home to this news which upsets me if only because TBJ would have done well as a back-burner sort of show. :(

Still haven't managed to download the episodes that have aired.

ETA: OK, so, a few hours later and all the fall lineups are coming into play which is important, I guess, this being sweeps season. NBC is keeping Will & Grace and ER but I'm too pissed off about TBJ to comment more on them.

8 Simple Rules is getting axed, as is Less Than Perfect. (Those two are ABC, of course). Grey's Anatomy (I want to see that), Lost (and that) and Alias will come back next year. Geena Davis' new vehicle looks interesting, as ever. First female president? I hope it doesn't come out flaky.

CBS is, of course, keeping its CSIs but may be dumping off either Judging Amy or Joan of Arcadia but will be keeping Num3ers. The Unit, which looks to be the network's new JAG/military-type show, looks interesting. OK, I'm only interested because of Robert Patrick and Dennis Haysbert but give me a break. Ooh, and Garner's ex is in that one too. /gossip's bitch

Fox has renewed 24 for two more seasons (if they'd made it three, that would have been a week of hell, wouldn't it?) and has picked up Arrested Development for a full 22 episodes which comes as something of a surprise, doesn't it? As for TWW, whilst we've known for a hwile that there's going to be anotehr season, is this really a good idea? Also, Malina may not make it back, even if there is.
