Today I attempted to make a webpage about some stuff, and it involved a) an image map and b) writing about stuff in a critical manner. Jesus. How the hell did I get my degree? Sentences are hard.

New Job dilemma #1: what to wear. It's going to be a dress because a) it's going to be 25`C in London tomorrow and b) no way am I going to iron my trousers. But. Okay, so, not the dress I wore to the interview. And probably not the navy blue navy-buttoned dress I wore last week because whilst that belt flew with my previous crowd...no. So. Grey? I think? Grey dress that I normally wear with pink/red tights what the fuck. I could wear it with chocolate tights?

I am over-thinking this.

Oh, hey, I made icons.

New Job dilemma #2: will I remember to take the correct train? This is not so much a dilemma as an indication of my completely not-together-ness. I have to go in for 10 but am going in the time I would normally go, just as a trial run of the commute. (Yesterday I sent Ex-flatmate info about a job in London. On the one hand, it's a good job, and it would be great for her. On the other hand, I am being a bit selfish.)

My co-workers at previous job have laden me with chocolate and ducks. Hashtag: true story.

If you don't mind sharing, how long is your commute going to be? As in time because my previous comment made no frigging sense. YES, SENTENCES AND THOUGHT CONSTRUCTION ARE HARD.

And I saw your desk on Twitter. They gave you such a great send off. I'm so excited for you!

It's okay - I understood! Yeah, it'll still be a couple of hours. It's quicker to get to London from where I live than to Cambridge, but the real hang up in my journey is getting from my village, in the arse-end of nowhere, to the railway station. The plus side is that the commute is a little easier.

I'd like to move closer, though, for time reasons, and also because the train fare is pretty much the equivalent of shared rent plus food.

They were so, so lovely! I have a lot of feelings about all that.
