(Completely and totally unrelated to terrorist cyborgs, but - how much do I hope Tariq has a love interest this season? A PROPER fellow spy lady love? It's embarrassing how much I've thought about this, actually.)

Because of course she'd be the bubbly, beautiful, insanely awesome one of the bunch, who is completely oblivious that he has the hugest crush on her. There will be an op where everything goes horribly wrong, and she panics, but Tariq manages to guide her to safety. Back on the Grid, she's all exhausted and appreciative, genuinely. She announces that she just wants to go home and sleep for a million years, goes to leave, to which both Ruth and Lucas make eyes that say SO NOW IS THE PART WHEN YOU SHOULD GO AFTER HER AND ASK HER OUT FOR DRINKS GOOOOOOO DO IT NOW. Later, Harry accuses Ruth of playing matchmaker.

It's sad, in a lot of ways. The Spooks in my head is part rom com?
