Of late my commute has featured a metric fuckload of Merlin fic. I have since run out, so that's distressing. As a note: god, it is completely inappropriate to read porn on public transport, but that's half the thrill? Shut up.

Anyway, yesterday I listened to King Arthur at work, and really, I need to take that off my ipod because there's obsessional qualities, and then there's just poor taste. I hate most of this sodding film and Tristan has all of 10 lines, and most of it is the sound of battle, so really, what am I doing? Comfort habits are weird. Anyway, I have vague ideas about fic that will never manifest.

This part of my post was brought to you by my continuing love of sword-and-sandal genre stuff. (Ahahaha, wikipedia has a list of modern sword-and-sandal/epic Hollywood films. I HAVE SEEN THEM ALL. THEY ARE MOSTLY AWFUL. [Um, The Last Legion? Oh god.) Up next - if I can find it - Hua Mulan. Chinese films! It has been a while.)

Quasi-relatedly, I want to do some podfic. Probably some Spooks fic. I will ask around before I do it, though, so, idk, keep an eye out? Or something?

I watched the United States of Tara finale. It was basically excellent, and I made a solid attempt at not tearing up, and I wish the season were not over. Sigh. The Internet is excited because True Blood is back next week but I am only really invested in that if Pam is around and is awesome, so, you know. Weeds in August, though, is that right? Excellent.

And I am going to be late.
