Last minute change of plan means I'm only wearing a sari on the wedding day - today I'm wearing a suit. The same suit, incidentally, that I'll be wearing to Denz's santak so that works out. (Girl, you know the one I mean - the aubergine/purple one.) This means getting dressed today is going to be a breeze, although I'm worried that the sari I picked for the wedding is less showy? It'll be fine. I just need to keep my phone charged, pack my creams, and decide whether or not I'm going to bother wearing real shoes at all this weekend or just swan around in my silver champal. Probably the latter as I can't be arsed to pack a second set of shoes.

I found my bangles easy-peasy because I have huge, 24-per-arm sets and am kind of obsessed, but I couldn't find my jewellery last night. It turns out this is because I wore The Mother's set last time I wore the pink sari so I didn't have it anyway. When I decided to swap the turquoise sari out for this suit, I found the jewellery straight away. The bangles are meagre, only 11 per wrist, but they'll do. I have my bindis, my hair clips, my eyeliner, and I'll have to borrow a bit of foundation. I don't normally wear base because my skin reacts to it, but a little mixed in with a shitload of moisturiser should set me.

I am cursing my eczema at present because whilst my fringe/bags will cover my forehead, I can't do anything about my right hand or my back. I'm going to cover my back today with my chunri/shawl but still. Frustrating.

Predictably my hair is still a world of badass but my fringe is not. So. Attacking that when we get to the travelodge today.

And now I have to pack the car.
