I ditched work at half-four yesterday and wound up making the excellent decision to pop into Marks and Spencers. I bought two tops with the gift card The Mother gave me on my birthday last August AND still have £25 left, whoop whoop.
My point is, I'm wearing one of the tops today and-- holy shit. I mean, I thought it was a button-up, square-neck tee but the cut is unbelievably great. The hem is fixed, too, so it shouldn't expand the way normal tees do. GUYS. I LOVE THIS TOP.

The other day I decided I needed to update my Canongate Myths collection and also wound up buying three books of poetry. An hour later I got an email telling me all the poetry texts were going to take longer because they had to order them from their central supplier. I'd like to think this is because they're popular but I know it's because they're not. So now I have to wait LONGER. What is this bullshit.

Yesterday was a year exactly since I started work. So. That happened.
No, but, my part-time admin co-worker bought me chocolate and we had four-fingered Kitkats, so it was kind of lovely? I don't know. I have a shitload to get done today.
