Oh god. So, I've been trying to catch up with NCIS since Christmas and failing abominably. Mostly because the show hasn't hit my embarrassment buttons quite this hard since season 2. I don't know what's triggering it, but it's freaking me out.
I did manage to watch Bones yesterday, though, so there's a plus.

Updating with complex sentences and full paragraphs is proving to be somewhat difficult of late, if only because I have fallen out of the habit or some such nonsense. Work is still monstrously busy and the project I'v been helping with comes to a head this coming Friday. The woman in charge of the thing is mightily intimidating because I am a ground-level coward, and also because she keeps asking me if I've finished tasks which she never set in the first place. Excellent.
I had Tuesday off, which was great, and then Friday I split between the primary and subsidiary offices, so that went smoothly if nothing else. There's not really a lot else for me to do other than the wake-work-sleep cycle, especially now that
xanitia has relocated to The West. I need to speak to The Flatmate about meeting up with her before she leaves for Perth, too, which isn't far off now. I think she finishes work at the end of this week. And then I really need to meet new people because this shit is getting ridiculous.

Driving lesson has been pushed to midday today so I have an hour and a half before that particular brand of hell. It's not so bad, just the anticipation makes me ratty, and I'm normally done with the lesson by this time of day.
Later I have to work out what I want to eat/cook because it's Sunday and the rents always eat meat on Sunday. I think this is a mindless tradition and needs to be ex-nayed but I'm just the resident vegetarian so my vote counts for exactly nil. (I am joking; I am not a militant vegetarian who expects her needs to be met.)

But I really want to catch up with NCIS! I miss the warm glow it brings to my gut. Also, I'm soon going to run out of Merlin fics to read and I'm going to need the distraction. Stupid, ridiculous boyfaces. STUPID.

Date: 2010-02-14 11:31 am (UTC)The things I liked about the first season haven't completely crossed the divide to the second one, but it's still compelling enough. I thought Ivan and Daisy were going to be a big thing but they haven't been shown together since the first episode so now their whole makeup is just mightily confusing to me. Unless they were together last week, idk, having not seen it yet, heh.

Date: 2010-02-14 02:31 pm (UTC)OH, I don't know if you know this but Bob Harris will be at some kind of concert on 25th Feb, he keeps tweeting it - Beth Nielsen Chapman, Robert Plant, Newton Faulkner and others - it sounds like it's going to be AMAZING and I think it's going to be broadcast on the radio. Keep an ear open!
