I mean. When they're sat face-to-face? My goodness. Just heart-breaking. But it was also what I wanted from it. I wasn't expecting Ruth so early in the series (despite not actually being spoiled, that particular character recurrence was kind of OBVIOUS. So. Thanks guys). When she breaks - my goodness. Nicola Walker is a fucking powerhouse, and so, so beautiful. AND THEN THE HANDSOME MAN GOT SHOT WHAT THE FUCK. I went into this particular story with much less interest than everyone else but it was handled gorgeously and suddenly I am massively invested? So there's that. (You heartless bastard - oh god. OH GOD.) The whole thing is so terribly them. Damn it.

(Lol, Christine Dale 2.0? Boring.) (Although her and Ros? Fuck yes.)

Wow, it's been so long since I watched Spooks! Feel weird.

Peter Firth and Nicola Walker just about broke my heart between them. Just them sitting there looking at each, so much unsaid. Ouch. I have missed Ruth SO much.

I was so scared Malcolm was going to die. When he went to the safehouse alone I was convinced it'd be another typical Spooks death, but no! Hooray! I shall miss Malcolm terribly though.

I felt the chemistry between Firth and Walker was beautiful. Looking forward to some more stellar acting there.

Ros is beyond awesome (though there wasn't really enough of her being awesome in this ep).

Ruth and Harry break my heart. They are broken now. But somehow I still love it and them so much. I just don't quite know how it's going to work.

She looks like she has slightly more spark, and if they play her off Ros instead of Lucas, I may be more interested. Right now though: yaaaaaawn.

I think the writers need to play with that antagonism and take the long road to recovery or it's going to be terribly boring.
