The plan, yesterday afternoon, was to watch Shrink and do other stuff but Baby Cousin turned up and that threw the day. It was pretty great! She has two new ducks called Beauty and Lovely (Baby Cousin is a girly girl of the Disney variety) and she's written their names on their undersides the way I do. Truly lol. We spoke to The Sister on skype; took crazy pictures with my webcam; spoke to cousin P; set up NCIS for The Mother on the netbook and then watched some Enchanted (love. that. film.) before she left. Of course, then I couldn't get the netbook back so I ended up watching the Life S1 finale.

After eating I watched the most recent NCIS with The Mother and then left her with NCIS: LA. She was ironing, hence her actually paying attention to things like plot.

I thought last week's Mad Men was the finale but apparently there are TWO more episodes? I'm not sure I can take it. This season has felt longer than most - not that I am complaining - and I am tense omigosh.

Back to work this morning; I did not sleep well at all. I slept, but it felt like a really light sleep. I'm shattered now, and EBL is going to be here in half an hour. Note to self: pick up new book to take in handbag. (Finished Barricco's Ocean Sea on the train; continue to love the translations of his work, my goodness.)
