Reasons why you are glad that you are not me: I came out of the shower and suddenly my arms felt like they were being incinerated. Fuck you, dermis, I don't need this bullshit.

Things I did this week: installed a scanner at work, fixed the printer, picked up my Threadless hoodies from the post office where they were being held at ransom, organised my leave for Christmas, submitted noms for Yuletide, and read an actual copy of The New Yorker. AWESOME.

But for serious, I did no real work the past two days and I don't even care any more. Tonight I am going to celebrate either by watching the Spooks commentaries on my new discs or watching last week's Defying Gravity.

So, anyway, the one thing that was bugging me about the first three episodes of this season's NCIS was how no-one was telling Ziva that despite what she may believe, she didn't deserve what she got. But then this week's episode happened and I guess that's sort of resolved? I don't know. I need to watch it again.

Relatedly: I dreamt about Fornell. He bought me a doughnut.

Oh man, I LOVE the panic/freak out one; I bought the procrastinator one for my cousin. (I was going to make a lame joke about how I keep putting off buying the tee, but, well, I already bought it? So.)

Don't be a 'nana - a) you are crazy with giftage (seriously, you are both terribly kind & terribly wasteful with your money! Save it for...other things.!) & b) I love your taste in things. Although, speaking of post, I wrote you a letter! I do that now, see, because I have decided to revive the art. EXCELLENT.

Haha! I've clearly inherited my grandpa's laissez-faire attitude towards money. But I don't mind, honestly! I consider it recompense for holding your DVD to ransom for so long. Unfortunately, I amassed the gift over several months and then realized I don't have an envelope big enough for it, so copious amounts of bubble-wrap and brown paper are in order.

I think you've recced me a couple, yes, and they have been fabulous. I wish I could return the favour! But I mostly read filth (albeit well-written filth, if I am lucky).
