Some time in the next hour my family is going to start the trip up to Lancaster where The Sister is going to start her undergrad on Monday. Well. She's going to start Freshers' Week on Monday; the work won't start for a week yet. The Mother is compensating by cooking which is a nurturing thing that she does. The Sister and I are getting along. To wit: we will be watching The Middleman on her laptop in the car as we travel to the overnight pit stop we'll be making before heading to Lancaster tomorrow. This is because in England, any drive that takes longer than three hours (so: anything on the opposite side of the country to where you live, or anything further than the next major city) requires an overnight stay. Shut up; our island is wee.
