Guys, I was at the station for an hour before my train actually left and it's 8.40 now and we're only just pulling into Ely. Know why this is? Because the train was already late getting to P and got further delayed AT P because another train broke and no-one thought to alter the train platform despite the fact that most of the London-bound services were also late & therefore not using THEIR platforms. QUICK SOMEONE STAB NATIONAL EXPRESS.

Despite my near-constant bitching, I don't actually dislike commuting. What I hate is that public transport is forever fucking me over. Goddamn this bullshit.

In other news, I have a team meeting this afternoon and as admin it's my job to take minutes. I hope this is the equivalent of taking lecture notes because that's how I'm going to go about it.

Last night I decided I'd try to catch up with NCIS and started watching the most recent Trent Kort episode again (side note: rawr; so glad he made a reappearance. Just give us some Fornell before the season bows out & I'll ask for no more) only to get to have to stop watching at the exact same place that I stopped last time.

And this is why I think these episodes are so long: because it always takes me so long to finish them.

On a similar note, have been using my commute to re-read some fics I bookmarked in delicious just before the Yuletide reveals, and have realised that they are shorter than I thought they were. My perception of these things is nigh ridiculous.
