Hate the weather. Absolutely hate.

So, it turns out that re-writing my ficlet is going to be a little more difficult than I previously envisioned because not only has my style changed but the entire premise of what I was writing needs altering (if only because most of it doesn’t actually make sense). Yay for me. Only, you know, not. Also, Joy (and others I know) is retaking her pure exam today. Go Joy! And go Denz! But she’ll ace her textiles exam…should probably call her.

Go team CSI!

Last night’s CSI rocked! It was hilariously funny and well put together; the race at the beginning was fantastic – and so cute! I loved it when Sara and Greg were hugging, not to mention Cath and Griss (“What the hell kind of music is that?!” and “What are you, taking a leak?”). Pure bliss.

L&O: Little and Large wasn’t too bad either; I was actually intrigued from start to end – that’s two weeks running, a personal best! Nice titbit of character info: Eames’ dad got done for ‘double dipping’ (getting a city pension and working at the same time).

Has anyone else noticed that Eames has a habit of re-using vocabulary? She’ll bring something up in passing and then she’ll use it again when she and Goren are baiting the crooks. This week was the ‘double-dipping’ thing and a few weeks a go it was ‘the buddy-boy system’. Hmm.

Oh, way to go Van Buren! Hi! It was good to see her. It’s also a relief not to have them at the two-seven all buddy-buddy with those at one plaza (you know, the way they are with SVU). It’s a nice separation. I heard that Lennie left The Mothership this year to get a small role on the fourth L&O. This one, apparently, has more focus on the lawyers. Bring it on.

OK, so I have to revise for stats and I’m working tomorrow too. Hopefully I’ll get some more of this stupid story written! Oh, I have some new icons too. These ones have come out a little better than previous attempts.
