I have given up doing my fandom posts for a little while because I have come to the realisation that I watch a lot of stuff that I don't even like. Dear Self: wtf? Plus: I'm marathoning Friday Night Lights in an effort to catch up. Still in love with that show.

Today is The Dad's birthday. I've made some cinnamon muffins (yum) and a cake. The cake is just terrible. I haven't cut into it yet, but still. I know that it is terrible. Further evidence that I should not be allowed near an oven, seriously.

Yuletide! Omigosh, am now getting kind of excited? Yes. Am half-heartedly putting together a DYW letter, but am mostly being distracted by the ceaseless rain and Real Life.

I deleted the old gmail app off my phone so that I could download the new one. Except the new one is too big for my phone. So. Now I'm fucked because the old version isn't available any more. This is really Very Annoying.

And now I'm going to watch True Blood.

Oh no! I am going to say that I'm kind of disappointed because I like reading them. But whatever you need to do in order to get into the swing of things is good.

I have this thing where I watch mostly because I don't want to not watch. Which is SO STUPID. But also very true, and very like me.

Also: I get attached to a show, and then the plot starts circling and I'm left feeling rather unfulfilled. BAH.
