Quickly, because The Mother and I are about to watch Merlin, lols.

I spent a great deal of this episode perving over random Russian phrases that I understood. Lucas calls his wife little bird and the Art-Fiend Not-President calls Ros a bitch. You know. After she finished casually YANKING HIS BOLLOCKS. Jesus, woman. 'Chipper' indeed. (I loved how every time someone tried to bring up Ros' emotional state she was all, 'he's dead; people do that' about it.)

Other things of note: undercover as cops! Malcolm's attention to detail! Forced memory recall! The only thing that would have made me happier is if Connie had been given something to actually do. The ending was exactly what I wanted from Harry.

To conclude: omg, ex-Mrs Lucas = my fictional Fiona Carter! Kind of.

Really? You wanted that from Harry? If nothing else, should he not have learned by now that top spies don't get their hands dirty?

I am developing a theory that he's borne so many losses this was the straw that broke the camel's back, but why did it have to be ADAM?

I hate this frigging revenge plot, because it's like nobody's death has ever been that important before. ANYWAY. I may be biased.

Ros is ace, as ever.

I was so tired watching this, however, I'm fairly sure I didn't even understand half of it.

I think Harry gets some plotty-mcplottiness this season, so yeah, it's what I wanted - mostly because he's beginning to make more black and white decisions, and it's leading him to other things.

I have just about forgotten that this is about Adam at all, lols. As soon as he died, I kind of wiped him from memory.

There was a lot of back and forth in the plot, I admit. Also: this is the second episode in a row when I've thought a random extra is supposed to be someone important, only to realise that, no, they're just a random extra. lols.

Ah, i can see your point there, because it did take them until about s5 to realise that they had PETER FIRTH on the cast and they might as well use him, so from that pov, anything that gives him something to do is good (unless it leads to him leaving; I hope not).

I possibly need to see this episode again with my brain intact (ha, good luck with that, self)
