The Mother's youngest sister called today: her two boys are coming here this weekend to stay for half term. Things we have planned include a trip to the swimming pool, a trip to the bowling alley, and then... stuff. Hopefully a trip to Nene Valley, too.

Seriously, I don't know what I'm going to do with them. Boys! What do boys do?! We're all girls in this house.

Am watching NCIS. Haven't finished the episode yet but Jethro's father! HIS NAME IS JACKSON. Fanon >>> canon because though I never posted that particular fic, I totally named his father that! MARVELLOUS. Also: Jethro continues to break my heart. WHAT IS WITH THAT.

Eventually I need to drag my backside to the local library, but I think that's going to have to wait until tomorrow.

That episode is GREAT. His father is GREAT. And they behaved like a father/son, not just two men. If that makes sense. Also, while I could not care either way about certain things, the end is stab you in the heart good.

NCIS surprised me with how invested I'd become in it. It went from good to LET'S TALK ABOUT HOW IT'S SO PERFECT THAT AT FIRST YOU DON'T EVEN NOTICE pretty fast.

Oh gosh, oh gosh, oh gosh - this episode was just delightful. The ending was so, so touching, and yes, Harmon and Ralph Waite (who I know from Carnivàle) played wonderfully off one another. They really did feel like father and son.

Fun factoid: baby!Jethro was played by Harmon's eldest son. D'aww.

I had the exact same response to the show. I actually dropped the show and came back to it. One moment I was all, yeah, it's okay, and the next I was watching it every. single. day.

Wasn't it? It was delightful. I love that grin Gibbs had when he was driving that car. It must be his allotted smile for the season.

Really? That's interesting. He seemed really young. Like barely eighteen young, but they've got the same eyes/nose/half-smile so I CAN'T HATE.

It was really weird for me because I hardly buy any television shows on DVD because I don't rewatch stuff but I snatched these up as soon as I was able. You miss a lot of the stuff the first time around. It's almost as if they're trying to hide the show's awesome and you have to work to find it. I got my younger sister watching, which is something.

Her job was to pass info to Ari, right? I thought she may have come across it but forgotten some. I think you're intrigued by Ziva's intrigue.
