Date: 2008-09-01 07:45 am (UTC)IT WAS INDEED. It was so good, it was like watching a different show (admittedly it was also like watching 203 as well). Why couldn't they have got this quality earlier in the series?

Date: 2008-09-01 12:04 pm (UTC)If Rob has something to do that isn't mooning over Rachel, he's ace.
I wish they'd gone straight for ten episodes, in a way - I think if they'd had time to stretch out, a lot of the character stuff wouldn't have felt as forced as it did.

Date: 2008-09-01 12:11 pm (UTC)It has occurred to me that Vik = Zaf in many ways
Yes, and I thought that too; and ditto on Rob. I realised I liked him whenever he wasn't being a complete TWAT (= mooning over Rachel. Whose name I can never remember).
How kickass is Charlie's boss, though? Fucking love that woman.

Date: 2008-09-01 12:36 pm (UTC)I have started shipping Vik and Rob on the basis that a) I no longer like Jez and b) it would distract Rob from Rachel, who is neither interesting nor interested.
I like her, but I'd like her to be allowed to be a bit more human (or rather to get to do something other than being worried or angry). Having said that, I'm worried that this hasn't been written in because she's the traitor, but I'm not sure how likely that is.

Date: 2008-09-01 12:49 pm (UTC)I agree, re: Boss Lady, but I really liked her yesterday because she wasn't just there telling them off, there was actual interaction, and they seemed to imply that she wasn't too keen on what she was hearing, either.
Really? Because The Sister and I think it's Rachel.

Date: 2008-09-01 01:20 pm (UTC)Last week, my choices were
a) Yates, because she's not been given much personality
b) Vik, because he's been given nothing to do
c) Rachel, because she's a cylon
d) Rob, because he's actually a schizophrenic who murdered Julian and is now covering it up and keeps losing it with suspects because he hasn't had his pills. Or something.
I think Rachel is the most likely, but I think we're *supposed* to think it's Yates, if that makes sense. Although I'm not sure it makes sense to be any of them - talk about deep cover!
