This afternoon I bought microwavable popcorn which The Sister then proceeded to burn. I don't even know. But! We then watched a whole slew of X-Files including that creepy one with the chickens and the start of season 3. My head is super spinny now, but whatev. It was AWESOME.

This morning I started writing drabbles for ncisdrabble100. It's slow going, and I'm bad at serial narratives, but so far, so okay. We'll see if I can keep it up.

Early start tomorrow so that I can get dressed on time. We're leaving at 8am come hell or high waters, so... shit, basically. The good news is that once we're dressed the rest of the day should be a breeze. The civil ceremony is at 11am, and then it's meet'n'greet at my aunt's until about 4pm. The reception is from 7pm. We'll come home early Sunday morning. Very early.

Then we have a week until we're back again for the actual wedding. Insane.

What I'm saying is: don't burn your houses to the ground. Back on Sunday.

The only time I tried microwaveable popcorn, I burnt it too =)

lols, oh dear. There's a skill to getting the time right and having as few unpopped kernels as possible, but it also depends heavily on your microwave.!

I know! And the weird thing was that half the kernels didn't pop anyway. So. I don't know. Funky microwave, I guess!

Haha, and next time it's worse. lols, although, I'm sort of excited about it now. Will make an explanatory post (in which I am kind of geeky about ritualisation).
