I don't think I've ever had them, though I might be wrong. They're not so big around here. I just know vaguely what they look like, from tv and such.

Ah, okay. Secret: I am currently eating them but I don't like them? So. I like the way they crunch! But they taste bad and make my tummy upset. I should probably stop. (Um. I probably won't.)

Yeah, basically. The originals are Nestlé chocolate covered in a thin, crispy sugar shell. They're small, round and flat (so, not little balls). The peanut variety are small, egg shaped with peanuts and chocolate. There is also a variety with a biscuity centre instead of peanut, I'm guessing because so many people have nut allergies.

I choose peanut M&M's because the original ones are (to me) a pale copy of Marabou's (Swedish chocolate manufacturer) Non Stop. These have a slightly bigger radius of the disk, with a thinner sugar shell and much nicer chocolate. I love them!
