The Jaipur bombings have quietly upset me. I don't know why - bombings happen all over the world, all the time. Bombings have happened in India, in Gujurat, too. But this one is just something else, and I can't pinpoint why. Possibly because I can remember the pink stone of the city. Possibly because when something similar happened in London the reaction was so different. I feel sad, not overly so because like all things, this is part of the way we live our lives now, and few things shock and surprise. But yes, this makes me sad for those people, and for that city.
