elysium1996,
sepiaxtoned and
wliberation: over the past two days my postman has delivered postcard-y goodness from you all! Many thanks! I've pinned them up already, and I'll take a photo as soon as possible.
For UK-ers participating in this year's Postcard Exchange, I sent yours out yesterday. For my international flist, you'll have to wait just a smidge longer because I need to wind my way to a post office (thus making sure that your cards actually get to you). There are about 5 flisters for whom I have yet to buy cards but fear not! You have not been forgotten!

I was damn productive yesterday. I sorted out my sales post at last (full list, post with pictures), I finished all three of my scheduled texts (Pnin has an excellent ending; oh Nabokov, you're so tricky!), and I decided which book to take from the library for the On the Road class. I cooked, I did my laundry, I wrote a poem about said laundry, I wrote and posted cards, I went to the store to buy milk, and I started reading Jeffrey Eugenides' Middlesex (for me, not school, huzz).
Today I have to start reading Chaucer's House of Fame. I think I'll head over to the library and get my work done over there. Except it's such a lovely day outside! Clear sky, so probably chilly, but it looks smashing.

Tonight the housemates and I are going to watch The Terminator \o/ Last weekend we worked through Alien and Aliens (Ripley/Sigourney Weaver = MUCHO WIN). Apparently we are having a James Cameron fest? We still have one more Alien film to watch, and the other two Terminator films. Yay, sci-fi franchise!

Man, after a week of bare-bones eating, I decided I'd earned a toasted cheese sandwich last night, with peppers and chilis. YUM. So filling. So good.
