So, around 11pm last night, Milton suddenly got easier? I don't know what that is. Perhaps my brain finally bridged the verse-prose divide. Hmmm. Anyway, I'm a book behind what I should be, but I realised that the timetable makes space for that so I don't need to rush to catch up. Instead, I have 8 chapters of Grapes of Wrath to read today. This is all good, though, because I'm enjoying that novel.

It's a good thing that my 9am is tomorrow and not today because I woke up at 11am. I need to go and buy some Nytol, and go to sleep at 11pm.

Damn. The primaries are damn exciting this time around. We still don't really know which candidate is taking what, do we? (Seriously, the '04 primaries were basically done by Super Tuesday, if I remember right). BBC tells me that Clinton won fewer states but more delegates (is that right?)

Also, and someone needs to explain this to me, is it true that the voting practises are different for Republicans and Democrats? As in, the former uses the first-past-the-post system, and the latter uses proportional representation? How does a difference like that spring up? And why?

LOLS, Shitwood tonight. This will likely be the highlight of my week, which is depressing on a whole other scale. (Um. I'm not going to be watching Ashes to Ashes, Keeley or no. I do like watching that fandom go insane around me, though.)

WOEFACE. So, basically, I'm in a fiscal rut and am going to have to sell off a lot of my boxsets (most of which I haven't watched myself yet - some of these are brand new, never been watched). So. I'm going to spend my weekends marathoning single seasons, and then sell on the sets. I'll have a list later in the week, if anyone is interested. The list will definitely include: Buffy seasons 2 & 3 [sold!], Spooks seasons 1-5 (separate) [housemate is interested], and Murphy's Law seasons 1-5 (boxset).

Did I mention that one of our fridge/freezers broke? Because YEAH. Not of win, particularly. We DID make pancakes last night, though, which was HILARIOUS. First there was too much flour. Then there was still too much flour. So we had to keep adding milk, and it wasn't spreading properly on the pan so we were getting fat, misshapen pancakes... lols, fantastic. The later ones were much better. They were all delicious \o/
