Today I showered, put on a wash, and simplified my userinfo. I'm about to go down to the store (in need of bread!) and then I'm going to watch Pirates of the Caribbean whilst sorting out my reading timetable. Huzzah, huzzah.

Yesterday I watched The Last Legion. Oh, Aishwarya. What, what, what. It was quite enjoyable, if not odd. Very odd. Odd in the way of being quite bad, actually, and yet compelling. Possibly this is because of Aishwarya and Colin Firth. Possibly this is because I'm easy.

Hahahahaha, picfor1000. Oh dear. (I really want to write something for behindthesong but my brain is apparently striking in solidarity with the WGA.

Hmm. I own copies of Dante, Donne and Rossetti, but I have yet to really find anything in these collections that I truly like. See the above. The first stanza is excellent, and then it gradually declines in meaning (for me). And such, it is a little disappointing. But I think possibly I have spent too long reading Neruda to enjoy other love poems.

i'm actually doing sonnets in uni right now and donne is one that i'm analysing for an oral presentation. i don't want to be an annoyance, but you wouldn't have any notes for his sonnet 14, would ya?

Hey. Sorry, I don't at all. I've never studied Donne; I just own a small collection... which I haven't even read properly. (C18th-C19th poetry = not really my thing.)
