I just spent 10 minutes trying to remember the word/phrase FENG SHUI. Various permutations I went through included: shueng fei, cheng fay and (my FAVOURITE as an example of my on-going battle with MORONITIS) SCHWENG FEI. Possibly you have noticed my error? Why yes, I did get stuck in a realm of hypothetical spoonerisms with NO WAY OUT.

Speaking of, I didn't even start to power off my laptop until I heard The Dad's alarm go off at 4am. Didn't make it to bed until after that, and I think I slept around 5am. Niiiice.

Also, The Mother was sort of DRUNK last night. Tonight The Sister is going to a party but leaving before the actual New Year Celebrations (NO, REALLY. She's coming back at 10pm? Something about working tomorrow, but I was arguing that she;d only be up until midnight over HERE because, hello, film + Jools Holland tradition!) I have no idea what the house will be like tonight if The Mother decides to drink again BLESS HER.
