{ more notes on End of Watch. }
Aug. 26th, 2007 02:41 pmInterestingly, both 2x15, Running Man, and 3x15, End of Watch deal with people misplacing trust in other people. In the former it's Larry whose trust is shattered; in the latter, it's Walker's.
Also, I know that the popcorn scene was an obvious set up for (a) one of Charlie's explanations, and (b) yet another instance of Charlie being crazy with other people's food/possessions (which: I find that really annoying and rude, personally, but hey! He's the genius! It's allowed! FUCK THAT) but the burgeoning question is: what the fuck was Megan doing eating a bowl of popcorn for lunch?
An addendum to that: one of the first things Don does when he walks into the room is take a handful, thus continuing his tradition of taking other people's food. On a softer note, it indicates a level of fondness between him and Megan that is often displayed. I like their friendship, I like that in a completely non-shippy way because he's still her boss, and she's still his solid second, but it's comfortable. I'm not saying it's entirely appropriate, but it's not offensive.
On the other hand: GOD, WHAT? Isn't that just really rude, sitting there eating popcorn in front of Walker like his anxiety is a spectator sport? Megan took the time out to pick up and make the popcorn. WHAT IS THAT?

Yeah, I'm sorry, I'm going to be like this all freaking day.
