I wrote haikus. Good news - it turns out I can count to 17 :o)

When I Can’t Write Poetry

My life (or so I
am told) is better when I
can’t write poetry.

This is because when
I can’t write, my life, it seems,
Is mostly all right.

There seems to be no
reason for me to make stress
To fulfil my art.

Only, when I don’t write
I feel like I really should.
(Though I really can’t).

Haikus are fun though.
A little simple for my
tastes, but still quite fun.
