So, I just watched the first two episodes of Heroes on, you know, an actual TV. I watched with The Sister and, for the first time in forever, The Dad. The only person not to join this family fun was The Mother. Anyway: watching TV is becoming a hardship. I don't really know what to make of Heroes. Normally I'm pretty into disparate yet overlapping storylines, but I found a lot of thi jarring. The cast is very pretty, though, we'll nod to
that.

Watched an old school episode of ER today, one of my favourites. The one where Doug and Mark take a road trip to claim Doug's dead dad's body. Fathers and Sons, I think it's called. Anyway. One of my first ER episodes, so that was a nice nostalgia trip.

Also watched the first two episodes of Oz. DAMN. That show has every New York actor ever (i.e. everyone from the cast of L&O and Homicide) which, yes, I knew, but it was still freaky to see JK Simmons, Dean Winters and Kirk Acevedo in one show. If I don't get put on babysitting duty tomorrow, I'll mainline the rest of the season, what with it only being eight episodes long.

The Gran and I went to D. I deposited a cheque, she bought a toothbrush for her dentures, we walked back. Then Baby Cousin arrived. Such has been my lot today. And yet I watched mre actual TV than usual. Weird day.

I should probably get my ass off the ground re: [livejournal.com profile] apocalyptothon, yes? Yes. Also: [livejournal.com profile] femgenficathon. Right now.
