So. Apparently Lindsay and Danny actually have chemistry now! This is new and actually quite welcomed. I can deal with them when I feel like they'd make an okay couple. Which - they do. I'm surprised by how much I've missed seeing Lindsay do stuff and I have randomly developed affection for Anna Belknap, so who knows? Also: omgFlack! Ahem.
Shallow: Stella looked gorgeous this week. I can't even pinpoint why.
The A-case was pretty good; I sort of hate it whenever Carmen Argenziano has to play an antagonist because I will always think of him as Papa Carter. That said, I liked the levelled playing field between him and Mac. I also loved Stella being all suspect over that frightening girl who I figure may or may not be back again. It would be cool if we had someone for Stella to play off against who wasn't herself or an abused woman. Also: I love Sheldon. But this is par for the course.

Aw, Reid being all himself again! That was made of win. As was the severe case of Hotch-angst. I'm sort of disappointed that it came back down to his family and his father - because yes, okay, we get it! He has father issues! He has work/life balance issues! WE GET IT, OKAY? - but I'll take whatever the hell I can get.
Prentiss, Prentiss, Prentiss. I don't know what to make of you, still, but I love you more each week so that's in your favour.
The story itself was ever creepy and I have a particular fear of fire so I probably shouldn't have started to watch before I went to sleep. I liked the guy they were liasing with, too, and I especially liked Gideon tuning in to Hotchner and he and Morgan having to pull him back. Hearing all those explosions was pretty hardcore scary.
This episode doesn't quite match up to the last arson case they had - 1x02/03? With the OCD girl who had a thing for the number three? - but I don't think it had to. It wasn't a show opener, it was a mid-season run of an established show. More than watchable and consistently interesting, which is cool.

Poor Sully. I mean, poor Bones, but poor Sully. I was not particularly enamoured of Angela in this episode - in fact, she's been irritating me quite a bit of late. Firstly, she's quasi-amused by Booth's response to the Brennan/Sully thing, even though pre-Sully she was a shipper. Secondly, I really feel that there are times where she does not understand Temperance at all. I know why she was encouraging Brennan to go but her endless insistence, that constant, "Go-- GO!" really put me off her, especially considering that Brennan chose to stay.
I LOVE YOU ZACK AND HODGINS. The head inflation was disgusting and wondering. "I'm a bone guy." Yes, we know. I love it when Jack is all, "Did I offend you, Dr Brennan?" His voice took on a peculiar tone and I was happy. Yay!
But yeah, I liked Sully, and I'm sad that this is how it played out, but I think Temperance has her head on straight and she has an attachment to what she does. So. Yeah.

I have yet to finish the last Battlestar, heh. I've been waylaid by the rest of fandom, not to mention early S4 NCIS which I have taken to re-watching. Tonight is S3 NCIS, yay, and Thandie Newton is on Jonathon Ross - I will endure an evil (Ross) for a good (Newton). Thanks to tigertrapped for the heads up. And I have decided to also watch Raines because I sort of like the idea of crazy detectives who talk to themselves all the time. The producer's theory is that Raines is suffering PTSD-related hallucinations which is an interesting idea, especially if it becomes a tool as opposed to a bad thing.

I think the Baby Cousin is coming to stay tonight. She had school of some variety today so she couldn't stay last night which is what she really wanted. I think I'm babysiting next week.
Also, I think I'm running an errand for The Dad tomorrow. If this errand traslates to "come to the shop at 8am so that I can do the forework to the errand" I will be severely pissed off.
