And now the other bit.
Kerry conceded and he was gracious. I know some people think he should have fought on but he knew he'd lost. he stepped down and he was gracious. I'm sorely disappointed and not just because he lost but because of the gay-bashing gay marriage ban vote that occured (see ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif){kind=small}
wliberation) and because Bush is a man who doesn't believe in anything. Except the one thing that I will (grudgingly) concede he does believe and that's anti-abortion and that infuriates me in itself because I'm tremendously pro-choice.
I'm also worried about Blair and the chance he will not get to rectify his own position. I was disappointed by our government but I'd rather it be Labour than the conservatives and the Lib. Dems are so crazy up and down that I have no faith in them. Blair needs to get out from Bush's shadow and make some real decisions and real choices.
