I just finished watching Angels in America. I don't know what to do with it. I was reluctant all the way through the first half, and then reluctant to start the second, and then I just couldn't stop watching it. And I have so many emotions over so many of the characters, and the overall message. I feel like it's something that I should watch again but it's not something that I can watch on my own. It's such a long story, and it's so many stories that I think you can get lost in the individual instances and not really see the big picture. But there are fleeting moments when it really came together for me and I think it's worth it for those moments. Cinematically speaking, it's beautiful. The actors are wonderful. The story-telling is immense. I'm still a little shell-shocked by the whole thing.
