You know you hear that song on the radio and it's perfect for whatever reason, but it's also obscure so it's not being played on mainstream radio, just stations like Radio 2, so you don't know what it's called, and you can't hum the tune but you REALLY HAVE TO FIND THAT SONG? So totally having one of those days. I've been mulling over this for a couple of months now, at least. I even heard the damn album on the TV some time during early December, which really pisses me off because I have no clue who sung the song, or what it's called, or even what it sounds like. I just know that it was an absolutely perfect CJ/Toby song. The first verse opens with the male subject of the song lighting a cigar in bed, and the singer/narrator is drinking something strong, or it's raining OR SOMETHING IT WAS PERFECT. And I can't find it.

So, on the off-chance that some darling on my flist knows what I'm on about, I'm leaving this one to the floor. Female singer, soul-ish atmosphere to the song. Cigars and sex. I DON'T EVEN KNOW. I just need to find the fucking song.
