Dec. 31st, 2006 12:11 pmSo, I set my alarm to go to work, and it's fairly loud. I wake up at 6 when it goes off, I'm half-asleep, haf listening to Mo Dutta, when Dad comes in and tells me to turn the volume down. So I do that, but I'm still dozing. Guess what happens next? I SLEEP THROUGH THE ALARM. I woke up about an hour ago. Thing is, Dad didn't phone home or anything, and Mum didn't wake me...I'll probably be in for it later. Aie.
Last night I watched another three episodes of Prison Break. T-Bag is terrifying and hilarious in one swoop. English, Fitz or Percy was good for plot progression, especially that bit when Michael's sat on the roof. I like how the episode titles tend to have to do with Michael's tattoos, and part of his escape plan. It's smart. Riots, Drills and The Devil, parts 1&2, are possibly the best episodes I've seen. For once, I was more engaged in teh opening, expositionary episode, than in the one where they wrap things up. When the inmates are banging against the plexiglass (both in A block and in the sick bay), it's manical and animal. It was really, really well done.
Anyway, I have to wait to be told off for not going to work, and in the meanwhile I have a few films to watch, which is always good. FilmFour has been showing The Shawshank Redemption a couple of times this week - Mum and I caught the second half of the first showing, Dad was watching it last night. Everyone in this house loves that movie, and The Green Mile, too. Much love.
