Re: icons - specifically the one you're using now: are those strap-on wings? If so, I'm going to have to use this icon in reply every. single. time. you use it, because that's just too perfect.
I know the feeling. This snippet is lush, at least. Your style = awesome, quite literally.
Your graphics always make me go 'wow!' first, closely followed by 'where did she get that picture/text from?'. Heh. Lindbergh? You do seem to have a thing for the arm up/hand in hair pose.
*blushes* Thank you. It means a lot that you said that.
Ha, I suppose I do. I love the way Lindbergh (first name: Peter) tells stories in his shoots, though, and I always think the composition and lighting is made of awesome.
I really like the layout; it is very stylish with lovely photos. There is something very special about black-and-white pictures. I also love the text at the top, from a layout point-of-view, but even more for the words themselves. They remind me of me, though you would have to switch the mother and father comments around. I see that you told twincy that they are part of a story, that won't let you tell it. If you ever do manage it (or even just a fragment of it) I would love to read it. Those few sentences paint a very vivid and interesting picture for me; even if the rest of the story never gets written, I would like to thank you for sharing those words. They really touched something in me.
Do you mind if I friend antja? I was just checking it out (and because it is late and I should really be in bed) I haven't read much and not commented on any of it; what I did read, drew me in though and I will be coming back.
