{ what goes around comes around. }
Nov. 18th, 2006 12:26 pmToday is already a much better day than yesterday, which ended in a bizarre mixture of haaaate (dealing with Other People's Issues) and awesome (talking to
snowpenguin545). Today, I woke up late (oops) and am about to start my af. lit. journal entries. The first instruction amuses me endlessly:
You MUST update your reading journal on a week-by-week basis. DO NOT leave the composition of the journal until the last minute.Huh. Oops? Except I've been taking notes week on week. I just realised that although I've read four books, one of them is Heart of Darkness which I wrote on for Mod. I'm not sure if I'm allowed to write about it again. Hmm. We'll see.
Later, I'll have new Numb3rs to watch. Oh, I finally watched the past two weeks' Supernatural. Both better episodes than usual because of the lack of snark (I like the snark but they go overboard, and then I can't watch it anymore) and the presence of gripping plot. I couldn't care less about Dean's poppa issues anymore. We get it, he has guilt issues. WE GET IT. We get it week after week - and Sam is our signpost to that. "No Dean, it's not that, IT'S YOUR POPPA ISSUES." Shut up, Sam. Although, I really liked the episode with the danashulps because that was fairly smart in terms of the plot; the hell hound episode was good for Dean vs. Demon. That needs to be a running theme, not in terms of how they play with his POPPA ISSUES, DID YOU KNOW HE HAD THOSE? but in terms of how Dean baits demons, plays with them, and how they turn in his palm. The scenes he had with Meg in the finale, and now this demon, were amazing.
I also got half-caught-up with Veronica Mars which was nyeh for the most part. Adultery! *stabby motions*
OK, time to get to work.
