This morning has been good, regardless of all the notes I have to write up, and the reading I have yet to do. (Also? I totally only had one hour thirty of sleep, wtf.) I had my intro. to film lecture on Casablanca which we watched yesterday morning, and really, why have I never seen this film before? It's wonderful. Admittedly I spent a lot of time quick-sketching scenes to show composition (nerd!) and laughing with N about things we'd already picked up on - why, yes, we do laugh at our own intellect. We're pretty big on stroking our own egos. Anyway, lecture = awesome.

T is going to Germany today and coming back Monday evening; I'm heading out to London tomorrow to spend Diwali with my family (&hearts!) which is going to be so, so, so good. I'm really looking forward to it, especially tomorrow because I'll be the only one there (Uncles, aunts &c. will arrive on Sat/Sun) and I'll get to spend some quality time with my gran and my awesome, awesome cousin brother.

Finally, I love hires_hotties so much. Thandie pictures! New ones! *excited* So, heh, another header to add to the rotation? Hell yes.

whee! i finally got the chance to listen to this. it was v.v. low and i had to go look for my external speakers, and even then i had trouble with some bits, but oh, your voice and accent are so lovely. and you said at least one cuss word i could make out :) in the meanwhile i see you're back from london and had a good diwali, i guess it'd be pointless to wish you a safe trip and happy holidays, eh? but i'm glad they were.
