{ Atlantis, 3x10, The Return Pt1. }
Sep. 25th, 2006 01:50 amStargate was blah if you discount Morena Baccarin and Vala's bloody hairdryer (lolz!)
OMG. OH MY GOD. I cannot talk about this episode coherently. It can't be done.
Firstly: BRING ON THE GAY. Ronon lifting Sheppard was just so many levels of omg. And then Weir and Teyla had that moment?
CARSON! I have love one this intensely shallow level where, omg, he has 6 siblings and he's the emotional one and yet, I'm really all Carson? I don't know. It seems like how I see Carson and how the writers see Carson are two points separated by galaxies. I see him as fairly stalwart in the sense that he's not that much of a sap. So. I don't know where I get these perceptions from.
Let's take a minute to talk about ELIZABETH'S LOVE FOR ATLANTIS. !!!! No, seriously, this episode was a dream for me in that respect. It was just...and I bet Elizabeth was wondering if it really was reality? Because, like, The Real World? And then this? And how awkward she and Sheppard are on leaving? AND HOW THEY MOVE IN TANDEM? LIKE SHE SKIPS BACKWARDS AND HE FOLLOWS. LIKE DANCING! *iz ded* And then Elizabeth being the last to leave Atlantis, and so reluctant, and so hurt when it's Woolsey and not her. OH MAN. And FLIRTING AT DINNER?!
THEN WHEN ELIZABETH IS THE DECOY? UM, FANDOM, STOP KILLING ME.
Random happy includes: ELIZABETH AND ELIZABETH'S HAIR; Rodney calling the damn gate system after himself first; the entire Ronon, Teyla & John scene; ELIZABETH'S HAIR WHEN AT HOME (she looked pretty vulnerable, actually; interesting); Ronon lolling the way he does (what is with him, anyway? How can he be like that but still so lust-worthy?), Elizabeth's apartment, War and Peace, MOVING IN TANDEM OMG.
(Um. Doesn't it suck that O'Neill is this, like, secondary character who, like, haaaate? Because that's how I feel about O'Neill now. He's so one-dimensional, like a cardboard cut out.)
Let's be honest, though, the cliff-hanger sucked, right? Right. (BUT FLIRTING! MOVING IN TANDEM OMG! NEED AN ICON).
Ahem. Oh man. And then next week is new Battlestar Galactica?! OH MAN.
